Rules of the International Online Competition

“House of Prompt”
Effective Date: 29 August 2025
These Rules (hereinafter — the “Rules”) govern participation in the international online competition “House of Prompt” (hereinafter — the “Competition”).
Participation in the Competition constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Rules and the Privacy Policy available at: https://privacy.houseofprompt.art/


1. General Provisions

1.1 Format and Purpose.
The Competition is held online and aims to identify and support creators working with AI-generated images and AI-generated video.
1.2 Definitions.Participant — an individual submitting an application to the Competition.Work — a copyrightable object (image or video) submitted to the Competition, created using AI tools.Finalists/Shortlist — participants whose works are selected by the jury for the second round; participation in the final requires payment of an administrative fee.Winners — authors whose works are selected by the jury as best in their category..Top-50 Catalog — a curated selection of fifty best works from the final round; not a prize and does not entail monetary reward.


2. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

2.1 The Competition is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.2.2 Participation is available internationally, except in jurisdictions where prohibited by law (“void where prohibited”).2.3 All disputes not resolved through negotiation shall be submitted to the competent court at the place of the Organizer’s registration.


3. Competition Stages

3.1. Stage 1 — Submission (free of charge).
A Participant may submit up to 10 works via the online form.
Submission opens: September 10, 2025
Submission deadline: October 10, 2025, 23:59 (UTC)
3.2. Stage 2 — Final Selection (Finalists/Shortlist).
The jury selects 25 winning works — 5 per category.
Announcement of Finalists/Shortlist: October 15, 20253.3. Stage 3 — Winners.
The jury selects 25 prize-winning works — 5 prize places in each category.
Final jury session: November 5–14, 2025
Announcement of Winners: November 20, 2025
3.4. Top-50 Catalog.
Following the final, the Top-50 best works are compiled into the official online catalog (curated list; no monetary reward).
Publication of the Top-50 Catalog and electronic diplomas: November 30, 2025
3.5. Date Modifications.
The Organizer reserves the right to change dates and deadlines of the Competition in case of unforeseen circumstances (force majeure, technical failures, etc.), with updated information published on the Website.


4. Categories

4.1 AI Image (4 categories): Fantasy, Character, Alt-History, Humor — 5 prize places in each category.4.2 AI Video (1 category): Infinite Imagination — 5 prize places.


5. Submission Requirements and File Specifications

5.1. Images (AI Image).
Format: JPG/PNG; size: at least 1500 px on the long side; file size: up to 10 MB;
file name: artistname _ arttitle _ category.png.
5.2. Video (AI Video).
Format: MP4 (H.264); resolution: at least 720 px on the long side; duration: minimum 8 seconds; file size: up to 100 MB; audio optional; file name: artistname _arttitle _ category.mp4.
5.3. Tools.
The application must specify the AI tools used (e.g., Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, Runway, etc.). Based on an image or video generated with a text prompt.
5.4. Content Restrictions.
Works are prohibited if they violate laws/third-party rights; contain hate speech, pornography, or excessive violence; use recognizable faces without permission; or use protected brands/IP without licenses.
5.5. Verification of Originality.
The Organizer may request from Finalists/Winners process materials (prompt/pipeline description, screenshots, project/seed) to verify authorship and compliance with requirements.
5.6. Rights to Video Elements.
If audio is included, the Participant guarantees sufficient rights/licenses for public display of the work within the Competition.


6. Eligibility

6.1 Open to individuals aged 18+ from any country (subject to Section 2.2).6.2 Employees/contractors of the Organizer and jury members may not participate.6.3 Conflict of Interest: Participants must disclose significant personal/professional ties with jury members in the application. Jury members must disclose potential conflicts and recuse themselves. The Organizer may replace evaluators, revise scores, or exclude works if conflicts are found.


7. Jury and Evaluation

7.1 The jury consists of at least 5 experts in digital/AI art. Composition is published before the final round.7.2 Evaluation criteria:
(a) originality and strength of idea;
(b) artistic expression;
(c) composition and integrity;
(d) technical quality/render clarity;
(e) relevance to theme/category;
(f) innovative use of prompt/process.
7.3 Jury decisions are final and not subject to appeal.


8. Prizes and Payments

8.1 What Participants Receive.Finalists/Shortlist: chance to appear in the Top-50 Catalog.Winners: personal interview on the Organizer’s website; publication in the online catalog; electronic diploma.


9. Additional Legal Provisions

9.1 Force Majeure.
The Organizer is not responsible for cancellation or postponement due to force majeure (war, natural disasters, global service failures, etc.).
9.2 Competition Modification.
The Organizer may reasonably amend rules, format, or conditions, publishing the current version on the Website.
9.3 Disclaimer of Losses.
The Organizer does not reimburse direct or indirect Participant expenses (e.g., software, work preparation, internet costs).
9.4 Legal Status of Participants.
Participants confirm they submit works on their own behalf and hold necessary rights/licenses.
9.5 No Class Actions.
Claims must be brought individually, not as class actions.
9.6 Transfer of Rights and Duties. The Organizer may delegate certain functions (e.g., application processing, exhibition hosting) to partners.9.7 Limitation Period.
All claims must be filed no later than 30 days after the Competition ends.
9.8 Language Applicability.
In case of discrepancies, the English version of these Rules prevails.
9.9 Withdrawal.
If a Participant withdraws after paying fees, such payments are non-refundable.
9.10 Use of Name and Biography.
Participants grant permission to use their name/pseudonym and biography in Competition materials (catalog, website, social media).
